Revival of the 1920's/30's Hair cut!

A 1920s / 1930s men’s hairstyle revival.
What used to be edgy and for the daring is now back in it's original roots.

There’ll be no shortage of hair cuts in 2012 that require a set of clippers, but they won’t all be influenced by the way men wore their hair in the 1920s and 1930s. Here we’re not talking about one specific style, but a variation on a theme: short back, short sides, and length through the top. In its time its had many a name, each related to the subculture indulging in it (in 1980s Scandanavia it was dubbed the synth haircut as a result of its association with synth bands of the era). But in short (not a pun, honestly) the length on top slicked backwards, meaning that the disconnect between the back, sides and top makes this an undercut hairstyle.

Went to Sephora in a wold wind to pick up some Lavanila Deodorant. I've been using Lavanilla for about a year. I love everything natural!!. I highly recommend any of their 5 scents.

While I was in Sephora, I also picked up a Soap and Glory face cleansing cloth. I'm a sucker for packaging and especially if it's pink!. I tried it out last night and I must say. I am a fan! It removed all of my makeup, mascara (which is hard) and lipstick. The wipes didn't leave my face feeling over dried after, Rather refreshed. I'm definitely curious about Soap and Glory products, and will try more in the future.

With facebook and other source's of connecting with people. I have yet again failed to maintain this blog. But here I go. I wanted to have this blog to review just the most amazing beauty products I feel that work for the average lady.

So on this section I will be featuring a body lotion which I felt has helped uniform and provide vitamins to my skin!!.



Palmers COCO lotion has helped uniform my irritated skin after shaving. I've noticed a decrease of bumps and visible scars.

Plan-By Choice

This Year has been such a huge change for me so far! From getting Married, Moving to a new apartment, and getting a puppy!!
I wonder what's next?....hmmmm... I feel like you make your life how you want it to be. Life is nothing but a struggle, either if it's good or bad. I've always been a hustler. Being a native New Yorker, I'm no beginner in knowing what to do when money gets tight.
from waitressing, free lance gigs to working at a Hair Salon full time. I have had my share in career choices. But at last... I feel like yet another move has to take it's coarse in life it order to feel a bit complete. Change is good!. I've managed to cover all ends above. I will post back in a few days with more details of a plan that I have in mind, that will bring happiness is my career choices at the moment, Hell yall know I worked my tail off to get this far, not to let everything go....

Beauty Fact of the day!

I love this powder!!! Just a light layer around your face. And it's oil free. I wore it today on top of my foundation and I didn't have to re-apply ones!!! Try Chanel Powder yall. It rocks!! ♥

What I use to moisturize my lips on a daily basis? I use Fresh's Lip treatment. One application last for ever. If you have chapped lips exfoliate with what ever face scrub you use. Or simply take a wet paper towel and gently, in circle motions buff the dead skin off. Then wear fresh lip treatment. Your lips look and feel 100% better.


FACE: Oily to Combination Skin.
I don't know about you, But I have combination skin to extra oily skin in the summer time. Which when I get older it works on my behath beacuse I'll look 25 when I turn 35 hehe. But YES! it's gross! The appearance of oily skin looks shinny and dirty! I use Queen Helen's Mint Julep Masque ones a week. It tightens my pores and makes my face super clean and gets rid of that dirt and oil. So why not?! Have a Go Go's night with it! Use the mask with pride! Just don't let your boyfriend see you with it!
